How to Use Daltons Garden Mix

Ideal for flower gardens, vegetable gardens, shrubs, and roses.

As a Soil Conditioner

Greatly aerates heavy soils and improves drainage. In light or sandy soils, it increases water retention and provides essential aeration for healthy root growth.

Directions: Apply 15cm of Garden Mix and dig in to a depth of approximately 30cm.

As a Mulch

Feeds plants, retains moisture, provides warmth, encourages earthworms, and suppresses weeds.

Directions: Spread 5–10cm layer around trees and shrubs, keeping material away from plant stems.

As a Planting Mix

Directions: Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball. Half-fill with Garden Mix, blend with existing soil, place plant, and fill. Water thoroughly.

For Planter Boxes

Perfect for large planter boxes (minimum 40cm depth).

Directions: Fill container to 5cm below rim, plant as normal, water well, and water daily until established.
